Amy的笑容真的很感染人，而实际上她也确实是一个坚强的人。
在失去了双脚，脾，左耳听力之后，没有一直消沉下去，而是选择自己定义自己的人生，不会听灾难的摆布。
这些缺失，在她眼里，却可以换一种乐观的角度去考虑。
可以自己想变多高就变多高，可以自己做合适的双脚去滑雪。
Borders are where the actual ends, but also where the imagination and story begins.
只要你真的想做，真的有梦想，不管遇到什么挡在你前行的路上，你都可以凭借想象力解决掉，
更何况，我们大多数人并未遭遇什么称得上的不幸，
不管是工作上，学习上，感情上，各种不如意，都不能成为阻挡我们前行的障碍。

how would you want your story to go?
I would day dream about traveling around the world,
I would picture all of the stories I want to talk.

I lost my spleen, my kidneys,
the hearing of my left ear,
and both of my legs below the knee.
Me passed out, escaping from reality,
In order to move forward,
I had to let go of the old Amy,
I should embrace the new Amy.
And that is when it dawned on me,
I don’t have to be 5.5 ft anymore,
I could be as tall as I want, and as short as I want, it depends who I am dating.
I asked myself the life defining question.
I imagined myself, walking gracefully, helping other people through my journey.
I could actually feel it, I could feel the wind against my face, and the beat of my racing heart, as if it were happening in that very moment.
And that is when a new chapter in my life began.
If I could find the right pair of feet, I would be able to do this again.
This is what I’ve learned,
that the borders and our obstacles can only do two things,
one, stop us in our tracks,
or two, force us to get creative.
When I lost my leg, I had no idea what to expect.
But if you ask me today, if I would ever change my situation, I would have to say no.
Because my legs haven’t disabled me,
if anything they’ve enabled me,
they forced me to rely on my imagination,
and believe in the possibilities.
and that’s why I believe,
that our imaginations can be used as tools for breaking through borders.
Believe your dreams and face our fears head on,
that allows us to live our lives beyond our limits.
Innovation has been possible because of my borders,
borders are where the actual ends, but also where the imagination and story begins.
Instead of looking at our challenges as negative or bad,
we can begin to look at them as blessings,
magnificent gifts that can be used to ignore our imaginations,
and help us go further than we ever knew we could go.
It’s not about broking down borders,
it’s about pushing off them,
and seeing what amazing places they might bring us.
