如果不检查{object.field}是否存在，则出错

关于检查对象中是否存在某个字段，我有一个问题。

我想打印用户拥有的所有类别，所以我正在做这样的事情：

  <ul *ngIf="user.categories.length >  0" *ngFor="#category of user.categories">
    <li>
      {{category.name}}
    </li>
  </ul>

原因是什么？所有的数据都是恰如其分打印，但我在web控制台中得到了一个错误，如下所示：

Cannot read property 'name' of null

但当我做这样的事：
